Official Miss Alaska preliminary as Miss Palmer 2027

My Mission & Impact

6.jpeg

I am honored to represent Palmer as the first Hmong participant to compete in Miss Alaska, an official preliminary to Miss Alaska America 2027.

As part of my mission, I advocate for and lead a scholarship initiative (the H.E.R Program (Hmong Empowered to Rise)) dedicated to supporting mothers pursuing higher education—whether through a university, trade school, or specialized vocational program like cosmetology or aesthetics. To turn this initiative into a reality, I am partnering with HEART (Hmong Empowering Advocating Reforming Together), a 501(c)(3) non-profit fostering unity across generations. I firmly believe motherhood should never stand in the way of personal ambition or a family's future.

Recognizing that childcare and personal health are two of the greatest barriers mothers face when returning to school, I am also collaborating with two key community organizations:

  • Thread: Alaska’s Child Care Resource & Referral agency, expanding access to quality early education and childcare services for parents who are studying or working.

  • Alaska Health Fair: An organization delivering affordable health screenings, preventative care, and health education to communities statewide.

Together, we are building a supportive network that empowers mothers to take their next step forward with confidence.

Why Support Me

Sponsoring my journey to Miss Alaska is far more than an investment in a crown—it is a promise to uplift families, empower mothers, and rewrite what is possible for our community.

As the first Hmong woman to walk this stage, I carry the hopes, sacrifices, and resilience of our heritage with me. I am standing up to ensure that mothers are no longer forced to choose between raising their children and reaching their full potential. Through my scholarship initiative, your support directly breaks down the overwhelming barriers of childcare and healthcare costs, opening doors for mothers to pursue their education and secure a better future.

Mothers are the heartbeat of our families and the foundation of our society. When we empower a mother to succeed, we uplift an entire generation. Your partnership allows us to expand crucial non-profit alliances, make real equity possible, and ensure our community's voice is heard loudly and proudly on the state stage. Join me in turning this vision into lasting change.

Investing in professional coaching to refine my poise, grace, and performance skills for the highest levels of competition so I can be ready for compettion.
